Supporting families is one of the most powerful ways to strengthen our communities.

COSA was honored to participate in the Let's Get in the Game Parent Event hosted by the Elmore County Juvenile Court in Millbrook, AL. It was a wonderful evening dedicated to connecting parents with valuable community resources while celebrating outstanding student representatives for their achievements.

COSA was honored to participate as a community resource partner, connecting with women veterans and sharing information about our Hope 4 Heroes & Families program, Women's Veterans Support Group, peer support, recovery services, case management, and other resources available to veterans and their families.

We appreciate the opportunity to engage with nearly 50 women veterans, answer questions, and connect attendees with services designed to support their health and well-being.

🏀 Shoot Baskets Not Bullets Part II was more than a basketball event.

COSA was proud to partner with local organizations in Dallas County to provide a safe, positive environment where young people could connect, compete, and learn about the importance of making healthy choices. Through friendly competition, community engagement, and access to valuable prevention resources, the event encouraged participants to choose opportunity over violence and teamwork over conflict.

A heartfelt thank you to all of our community partners, volunteers, and everyone who helped make this event a success. Together, we're creating safer communities, empowering our youth, and proving that every positive connection makes a difference.

Thank you, Wilcox County! đź’™

COSA was honored to be part of the 2026 Annual Snow Hill Fest, connecting with community members, sharing prevention resources, and celebrating the rich history and culture of the Snow Hill community.

Events like these remind us that prevention starts with meaningful conversations and strong community partnerships. We enjoyed meeting so many families, answering questions, and sharing information about the free programs and services COSA provides throughout the region.

A special thank you to the Snow Hill Fest organizers, volunteers, vendors, and everyone who stopped by our booth. We look forward to continuing to serve and support communities across Alabama.

Every veteran's journey is unique, and so is the strength they carry.

Through creativity, passion, and perseverance, healing can take many forms. Today, we're proud to celebrate one of our local veterans showcasing his incredible artwork at the Vet Center. He serves a reminder that there are endless possibilities beyond life's many challenges.

At COSA, our Hope for Heroes program is committed to supporting veterans and their families by connecting them with resources, encouragement, and opportunities to thrive. Because every veteran deserves hope, purpose, and a community that believes in them.

Know a veteran who could benefit from our services? We're here to help.
