Huntingdon College Ambassadors

Nolan Fowler is a junior business administration major from Fort Payne, Alabama and plans to pursue a career in commercial construction. He is a member of the Huntingdon Hawks baseball team and the History Club, and participated in the Freshman Leadership Initiative. Nolan is listed on the Dean’s List of High Honors, and was named CCS Academic All-Conference. When he is not hanging out with his friends on campus working out or playing video games, he likes to spend time at Frazer Church, Eastchase, and Riverwalk Stadium. He also enjoys spending time reading books, especially his Bible. He enjoys his religion classes, and loves all of his business classes with Professor DeLoach because he is a great teacher, and he is hilarious! Nolan describes Huntingdon as a “place where he can build his future while being a part of a community that feels like home.” Fun facts: Nolan’s go to playlist songs are "Trippin" by the Futurebirds, and "Better Than Me" by Riley Green. And, he can solve a Rubik’s Cube!

Huntingdon College Ambassadors

Rebekah Wilson is a senior from Pike Road, Alabama. She is a history education major because she wants to make a difference in students’ lives, and even hopes to one day travel and teach overseas. Rebekah is a member of the Lady Hawks lacrosse team, Kappa Delta Pi honor society, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, and the Student Government Association, and serves as a Huntingdon Student Recruiter. She enjoys spending time with friends and attending all of the athletic events on campus. In her free time she likes to play the violin and ukulele, try new foods, read, and learn a new language. Some of Rebekah’s favorite classes at Huntingdon have been her religion classes because religion is such a big part of her life that she has really enjoyed deepening her understanding. She describes Huntingdon as the “place that challenges her, supports her, and continues to shape who she is becoming.” Fun facts: She once went zip-lining! Her go to in the DH are the Ruby Wraps or the pasta bar, and her go to study snack is a chai latte.

Huntingdon College Ambassadors

Lukas Holman is a senior business administration major from Phenix City, Alabama. Lukas played baseball for the Hawks his freshman and sophomore years and was part of the 2025 Conference Champion team. He now serves as the Sports Information assistant for baseball and helps track and manage team stats. He loves hanging out in the DH or outside on campus with his roommates; and in his free time he enjoys working on his golf game, going to the gym, or playing video games and watching tv and movies with friends. His favorite television show is Breaking Bad, and currently his favorite playlist songs are "Good Riddance" by Green Day and "Scar Tissue" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. For Lukas, Huntingdon is where he has discovered his career path and next steps, and formed long-lasting relationships. Fun facts: Lukas is originally from Maine and moved to Alabama in 2020. His first stop in the DH is always the Southern Kitchen line, and his go to study snack is Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.

Ava Rose Dean, a senior exercise science/ pre-PA major from Wetumpka, Alabama, plans to attend PA school after graduation and pursue a career in cardiothoracic surgery. She is a member of the Presidential Scholars sports medicine team and Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority. Ava Rose is listed on the Dean’s List of Honors and is a member of the Sigma Tau Delta English Honor Society and Gamma Sigma Alpha Greek Academic Honor Society. Ava Rose chose Huntingdon because it gave her “a sense of certainty that she had found a place where she could truly thrive, belong, and call home.” Her favorite things about Huntingdon continue to be the close-knit community and all the meaningful connections. She enjoys taking walks around campus and attending athletic events with her friends. In her free time, she enjoys playing pickleball, going to the beach, and spending time with her family. Fun facts: Ava Rose once went parasailing (even though she hates heights!). Her favorite movie is “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days,” and one of her playlist favs is “Be Her” by Ella Langley.

Sam Hailey is a junior from Jackson, Mississippi, majoring in exercise science, health and wellness. He is a member of the Huntingdon Hawks men’s basketball team and Huntingdon’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). Sam has been named Academic All-Conference and is on the Dean’s List of High Honors. Sam plans to pursue his masters in sport administration and interned last summer with Marquette men’s basketball to learn more about coaching and administration. When he is not on the court practicing or studying in the library atrium, Sam enjoys hanging out with his friends, supporting Huntingdon's many athletic teams, golfing, and lifting weights. Sam considers Huntingdon home, and the place where he “has learned to be a man, grown in his faith, and made life-long friends.” Fun fact: Sam loves watching movies (his favorite movie is Fight Club), and one of his go-to playlist favs is Riley Green’s "Mississippi or Me." Sam's go-to study snacks are Nutella B-Readys and Smart Water.

Huntingdon College Ambassadors

Kylah Rome is a senior criminal justice major from Columbus, Georgia and plans to pursue a career as an officer in the military after graduation. She is captain of the Huntingdon Flag Football team, a member of the BSU, and served on the CCV Student Council. She is listed on the Dean’s List of Honors and is a member of the Tri-Alpha Honor Society. She says that she chose to major in criminal justice so that she could be the change that she wants to see in the world. Kylah chose Huntingdon because of the people. She says, “Just like Stitch says Ohana means family, Huntingdon means family to me.” Her favorite things about Huntingdon include The Green, all of the friendly faces, and Wing Wednesday in the DH! In her free time, Kylah enjoys doing arts and crafts, walking around campus, listening to music, or watching her favorite tv show, The Walking Dead. Fun facts: Kylah once rode a roller coaster on a cruise ship! And her go to study snack is a 3 Musketeers bar!

Sage Speer is a junior business administration major from Chelsea, Alabama, who plans to pursue a career in insurance after graduation. He is a member of the Huntingdon Men’s Tennis Team, Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity, and is president of the Interfraternity Council (IFC) and an Orientation Leader. He has been listed on the Dean’s List of High Honors and was selected as Future Greek Leader of the Year. Sage says he knew HC was the perfect place for him when President Leigh knew his name and back story on his very first day! In his free time, he enjoys watching tv and socializing with friends, maybe watching his favorite movie, Invincible. Sage says that the craziest thing he has ever done was go skydiving, and he is planning to take a cruise to Alaska over the summer break. Fun fact: Sage’s go-to snacks are apple juice and a Milky Way!

Donovan Wilson is a senior from Daphne, Alabama, majoring in sports management. He is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, the BSU, and the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). He has been listed on the Dean’s List of Honors, was named Academic All-Conference, and was a member of the Hawks’ Collegiate Conference of the South Conference Championship basketball team. As an athletic administration intern at Huntingdon, Donovan has gained experience in sports and game management, and was invited to attend the 2026 NCAA Student Immersion Program in Washington, DC, where he learned about legislation in college sports. In his spare time, he enjoys playing basketball, hanging out with friends, and watching Law & Order SVU. Fun fact: Donovan’s go to study snacks are Jolly Ranchers and Pineapple Fanta. And he has been to 6 countries!

Yvette Gorden, a senior from Pike Road, Alabama, kicks off our summer “Red Jacket Ready” 2026-20727 Huntingdon College Ambassador profiles.

Yvette (Yeti to her friends) is a business administration major, a member of the Huntingdon's women’s golf team, and a member of Phi Mu sorority. After graduation, Yvette plans to coach golf while pursuing her MBA. She has been listed on the Dean’s List of Honors, was named All-American, and was the USA South Conference women's golf individual winner. Yvette says that one of her favorite things about Huntingdon is the College’s roots in the Methodist Church that reflect her values because being a United Methodist is such a large part of who she is. In her spare time, she likes to golf, play pickleball, and hangout with her friends, possibly binging her favorite show - Modern Family. Fun fact: Yvette’s go-to playlist songs are Like You Do by Yana, and Risk It All by Bruno Mars. She once made a hole in one during a tournament! And she is a twin!
