AIM is looking for the perfect space for our 39th Annual Fundraiser, “Framing The Future,” on November 5, 2026!

This year’s event will be an art show and reception featuring artwork created by families in our programs, and we are looking for a community partner interested in serving as our Hospitality Sponsor.

We are especially looking for:

• A welcoming event space
• Room to display artwork
• Tables and seating for guests
• Food or refreshment options
• A venue willing to donate or offer a reduced nonprofit rate

If you own, manage, or know of a space in the Montgomery area that might be a good fit, we would love to hear from you!

Aid to Inmate Mothers is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and sponsorship recognition will be provided for donated or reduced-cost support.

Please message us or tag a business or venue you think we should contact.

Help us “Frame The Future”!

Aid to Inmate Mothers would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Troy University for their generous donation of school supplies to the children and families we serve. A special thank you to Dr. Stephen Carmody for organizing everything and Dean Dr. Fred Figliano for allowing Troy to be apart of an ongoing need for our AIM families.

Your kindness and commitment to supporting our community will help ensure that students begin the school year feeling prepared, confident, and encouraged. Every year, a very thoughtful supporter donates new perfume for the women in AIM’s transitional home and for our Pack-A-Purse project. She stopped by again this year and left another generous donation with one of our residents.

We may not always get the chance to properly thank her, but we want her to know that her kindness has not gone unnoticed. The women truly enjoy receiving the perfume, and we are grateful that she continues to think of them year after year.

Thank you for continuing to support the women of AIM.

11 years.

2 bags.

1 bus ride.

A purse filled with essentials.

And a second chance.

Yesterday, one of our newest residents arrived at our transitional home after spending 11 years incarcerated. After a 1.5-hour bus ride, she walked through our doors carrying everything she owned in two plastic bags, a donated Pack-A-Purse, and the courage to begin again.

For many women leaving prison, reentry starts with very little. A few belongings. Uncertainty about the future. Hope for something better.

Today, she has a safe place to stay, support to help her move forward, and a community that believes her past does not define her future.
Thank you to everyone who donates purses, hygiene items, household supplies, and financial support. Because of you, women returning home are reminded that they are not alone.

🦋 Hope lives here.
