Who said living at an Assisted Living facility is all fun and games, sometimes there is work to be done. We recently had some sweet corn donated to us and the residents were able to help shuck corn, with so many hands helping the task was done in no time and we got to enjoy the delicious lunch of fresh sweet corn!

Residents had a pretty wonderful week.
On Tuesday we got to do some shopping at the newly remodeled Dollar General in Montgomery.
On Wednesday we were able to enjoy the beautiful weather on a “Let’s go fishing” trip to Cedar Lake. Thank you to the wonderful Captains for making sure that everyone was able to catch a fish.
Today we made a trip to Dairy Queen, there were smiles all around for everyone. Some even tried things they have never had before.

The residents were treated to kolacky making with the kolacky royalty and candidates. The girls then took turns introducing themselves and answering some questions. The event ended on a high note with a delightful treat of kolacky.

We have part time opportunities available in our direct care department! You must be a least18 years old.

Your work schedule is a block schedule so every other weekend will be a 3 day weekend!

The residents went on a couple of outings this week. On Tuesday, a visit to the Pizza Ranch in Le Sueur resulting in full bellies for all. On Wednesday, a trip to the Wild Adventures Zoo in New Prague left the residents with mixed impressions.

Despite the evening not going as planned, it turned out to be a delightful experience. Residents, family, and friends enjoyed a night of food and entertainment. Thank you to all who helped when Mother Nature changed the picnic plans. A special thank you to Ryan Cihlar for the wonderful music and Erin Fahey for the talented face painting. We also appreciate those who attended, making the evening special and a great way to spend time together.

Tori's precious pets provided the residents with an opportunity to interact with various exotic animals, including a turtle, hermit crabs, tortoises, hedgehog, guinea pig, chinchilla, and a very cuddly bunny rabbit. The residents learned all about these animals and even got to witness a tortoise race.
