The Montgomery Public Works Department will provide residents with an emergency bulk brush collection beginning on Tuesday, June 16 at 7:00A, following the severe weather that downed several tree limbs across the Village this week.

Crews will begin Tuesday morning and make only one pass through each neighborhood in the Village. The Village advises residents to stack all brush neatly in the parkway by Monday (June 15), as the first pass-through begins promptly at 7:00A.

More information and guidelines can be found at https://www.montgomeryil.org/167/Brush-Pick-up.

Did you know that all door-to-door solicitors must obtain a Village permit before soliciting in our community? Licensed solicitors must carry and display their Village-issued permit while conducting business. Residents can add their address to the Village's "Do Not Solicit" list. If an unlicensed solicitor comes to your door, please call the non-emergency number (630-553-0554) and let the police department know their location so an on-duty officer can notify the offender.

The following businesses currently have individuals with active permits:
- Sun Run (2)
- GM Property Care (2)
- Power Home Remodeling (5)

To view current permitted solicitors, learn about solicitation rules, or find out how to join the Do Not Solicit list, visit: https://montgomeryil.org/596/Solicitor-Permits.

🚧 NO STREET PARKING ON 29 STREETS STARTING FRIDAY, JUNE 12 🚧

The Village will perform Reclamite asphalt rejuvenation treatments on 29 neighborhood streets as part of our ongoing roadway preservation program beginning Friday, June 12.

🚫 No street parking will be permitted on affected roadways while work is being completed. This restriction only applies to the streets and roadway sections listed in the project schedule.

Reclamite helps restore and protect asphalt pavement, extending roadway life and delaying the need for more costly repairs and resurfacing projects.

⚠️ Work is weather-dependent and may be delayed if rain is in the forecast.

Affected streets include:
Big Bend Dr., Buchanan Ln., Charismatic Dr., Cielo Ct., Cloud Croft Ct., Concord Dr., Foster Dr., Ga***rd Ln., Grey Ave., Helene Rider Dr., Indian Cliffs Ln., Iron Leige Ln., Manchester Dr., Patterson Rd., Pecos Circle, Riva Ridge Rd., Secretariat Ln., Silver Charm Ln., Silver City Ct., Simon Ct., Simon Dr., Sir Barton Ln., Spokane Way, Thunder Gulch Rd., Van Horn St., Venetian Way, West Larkspur Ln., White Rose Dr., and White Sands Ln.

Today was a big day. Elected officials from Village of Montgomery, IL, Village of Oswego, Illinois, United City of Yorkville, and the DuPage Water Commission - Government came together to formally break ground on this massive investment in our region’s future water supply.

One of the best parts, Mayor Matt Brolley made the news! Thank you to our Village elected officials for their countless hours of dedication and resources for more than a decade to ensure our future generations can thrive in our home town.

Communities in the west suburbs are raising a glass to a new future water source.

I spy in my Montgomery eye, an easy escape from screens and busy schedules.
Enjoy the Village’s Level II Accredited Arboretum and get back to nature. Go for a peaceful walk. Bring the kids to spot bugs and leaves. Take photos or sit and do nothing at all. There is no “right” way to visit the arboretum. Take the time and make the visit your own.
