The Air Force 500 team spent time in the warehouse sorting food and packing boxes to help keep meals moving to neighbors!

From organizing donations to preparing food for distribution, this group jumped right in and helped get the job done.

Thank you to this group for not only serving our country but also our community! 👏

WIC Income guidelines have changed. More people will now be able to access the supplemental nutrition program.

Alabama has expanded income eligibility for the Women, Infants and Children nutrition program, known as WIC, meaning more families may qualify.

The Heart of Alabama Food Bank is seeking a creative and mission-driven Marketing Coordinator to help tell the story of hunger and hope across our communities. This role leads content creation and storytelling efforts through social media, digital communications, print materials, and community outreach while helping strengthen HAFB’s brand and public engagement. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with experience in marketing, graphic design, and content creation who is passionate about using storytelling to inspire action and support the fight against hunger.

Talk about bringing the energy! 👏

The team from DAS North America, a Hyundai supplier here in Montgomery, rolled up their sleeves and helped pack the equivalent of 2,500 meals for neighbors across our community!!!

From the production line to the pack line, this team showed what community partnership is all about. We’re grateful they chose to spend part of their day serving alongside us and helping move food to families who need it most.

2,500 meals packed. One great team. A whole lot of impact. 👏🥫
