Reminder, if you are tasked to deploy, please forward your tasking information to [email protected]. Just a suggestion, ask questions sooner rather than later! Many deployers seem to wait until the last minute and at times, a little bit too late.

One of the hottest topics lately is government funding and unit funded deployment items have been drastically reduced. Please refer to the most recent Holm Center uniform policy letter for more details. The Air Force is leaning back to the member's responsibility of maintaining deployment bags. Be sure you are prepared, especially BEFORE you enter your AEF tempo band.

The MAJCOM continues to task individuals to deploy with a blank or erroneous AEF Indicator in MILPDS. Don't let yourself be one of these people. Coordinate your tempo bands with your Detachment CCs and have them updated.

For 6 Jan 11: A new talking paper has been sent out to all ROTC Detachments. One important change to highlight is since the new tasking process takes the Holm Center out of the notification equation, we must rely on the tasked members to send us your tasking information. This includes the ULN, location, etc. Once we have this information, we will be able to assist those tasked to deploy.
