EVERY FRIDAY IS LIT!

This week, LIT Friday featured 1st Grade!

Our scholars read The Three Little Pigs and the Big Bad Wolf and learned about characters and settings. 73 out of 77 students successfully identified the main characters and settings from the story!

Learning is LIT at Chisholm!

Nuestros estudiantes leyeron Los tres cerditos y el lobo feroz y aprendieron sobre los personajes y los escenarios. ¡73 de 77 estudiantes identificaron correctamente los personajes principales y los escenarios del cuento!

📚Today’s Professional Development was “M&M’s with the MTSS Facilitator.” Ⓜ️ We’re meeting our students where they are, monitoring their progress, and moving them forward! Meaningful MTSS + M&M’s = a pretty sweet PD! ☺️

Today’s sweet spot was all about number sense routines! We enjoyed some cookies, meaningful math conversations, and practical strategies to help students build flexibility, confidence, and strong mathematical thinking.
