Families can take advantage of free summer meals provided through the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) Summer Meal Programs, which help ensure children continue to receive nutritious meals while school is out. These meals are available at approved community sites across Texas and are open to all children 18 and under at no cost, with no registration or proof of income required. The program is designed to support healthy growth, learning, and food security throughout the summer months when school meals are not available. Today was the day we look forward to all year — the 5th Grade Food Truck Project! 🚚🍔🌮🍦

So much creativity, teamwork, and hard work went into making this event a success…and it was all so fun (and delicious)! We are so proud of our 5th graders for bringing their ideas to life and serving up some amazing treats.
