🌱 We’re hiring an Executive Director!
The Alabama Association of Resource Conservation and Development Councils is seeking a collaborative, forward-thinking nonprofit leader to guide our statewide organization into its next chapter.
Based in Montgomery, this position offers the opportunity to:
• Provide strategic and operational leadership
• Partner with our Board, staff, and nine regional RC&D Councils
• Strengthen nonprofit governance and financial sustainability
• Cultivate relationships with government, business, funders, and community partners
• Advance projects that create lasting social, economic, and environmental impact across Alabama
The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience, financial acumen, sound judgment, and a passion for serving communities. Experience in nonprofit management, public administration, community development, conservation, government, or a related field is especially valuable.
This is a full-time, in-person position with a salary range of $75,000–$100,000, comprehensive benefits, and regular statewide travel.
