River Region Young Democrats We are a group of students and young professionals dedicated to working for progressive values and e What does it mean to be a River Region Young Democrat?

It means being progressively-driven in one of America's hotbeds for progressive activity. It means getting engaged to help elect quality Democrats on a local, statewide and national level, hitting the pavement with energy and excitement. It means having access to the thought leaders and decision makers across the River Region, working together to address problems affecting our communities. It mean

s attacking hot-button issues that impact our friends, families and neighbors, organizing campaigns that lead to positive change. And, of course, it means having a network of like-minded young professionals and students with whom you can share a beer and celebrate a victory. The River Region Young Democrats, established in 2013, are a member-driven organization in the purest sense of the term. However, our group's greatest assets are the ideas and initiatives that our diverse membership brings to every meeting, driving us to action.
