The Park Crossing facility has 40+ classrooms, 4 biology labs, 4 chemistry labs, two modern visual art studios, two distance learning labs, a spacious band room and a modern choral room, and four career tech spaces that will develop according to spec
ialized areas of study. At full capacity Park Crossing will house approximately 1000 in grades 9-12. The footrprint and drawings for a third pod, or wing, are in place that would allow for expansion as the communities around the school grow. The Park Crossing campus has a very collegiate feel. There is a spacious courtyard area that is enveloped on three sides by school buildings. A deck from the library overlooks the courtyard. Each teacher will have office space away from the classroom for planning and collaborating. There are several large collaborative spaces built into each wing to allow for groups of students to engage in various, diversified learning activities. Park Crossing is slated to be open for occupancy sometime in early July. Construction is currently on schedule.
