Auburn University at Montgomery Physical Education Program Prepare for Alabama teacher certification for a career teaching physical education from the pre-school level through high school (P-12).

The Physical Education Program at AUM offers undergraduate and graduate programs in Professional Physical Education Teacher Preparation K-12 & Exercise Science. The academic program consists of courses and practicical work, including methods, technique-based classes and a comprehensive, "real world" internship. The curriculum provides a variety of physical education activities, inlcuding fitness,

dance, individualized sports, team sports and exercise science theory classes. Small classes create a supportive learning environment and provide an opportunity for skill development for students of varying ability levels. Our graduates positively impact their students by enabling them to develop skills, knowledge, and attitudes neccesary to pursure healthy, active lifestyles.
