Join the SIX Republican Women's Clubs of Montgomery County as we unite to host one FREE countywide Get Out the Vote Rally!

Meet Republican Candidates from the courthouse to the State Capitol, and hear firsthand what's at stake in 2026. This event will feature music, engaging speakers, and candidates will have tables where they can engage with voters to answer questions on the important issues. Light snacks and beverages will be provided.

When Montgomery County Republicans work together, we amplify our impact, inspire others across Texas, and build the momentum needed to win on Election Day.

So, bring your family, invite your friends, and be part of the team that will help keep Montgomery County and Texas RED!

📣 Saturday night update:

FOSTERS STILL NEEDED!

We are still experiencing AC issues, but all animals in our care are safe and staying cool.

Thanks to our community, 28 dogs went into foster today! But intake doesn’t stop - 36 animals came through our doors today alone.

We could really use a few more fosters to help keep our numbers down while repairs are underway. If you can foster for just a few days, please reach out!

🚨 UPDATE: We have now lost AC in a second dog room. The county is actively working to fix the situation but we CRITICALLY need fosters. Can you keep a dog for a few days? PLEASE email [email protected] if you can help! We will be doing pickups on Sunday as well. 🚨

The AC is out in one of our dog rooms and we need your help!!

☀️ Homes for the Heat Wave Needed☀️
We’re asking our community to help us empty 30 kennels and get up to 60 dogs into foster homes this weekend.
Opening your home as a Heat Wave Foster makes an immediate impact. It gives a dog a comfortable place to spend a few days while also creating desperately needed space inside the shelter.

Why heat wave fostering matters:
• Emptying 30 kennels gives us flexibility while one of our rooms is without AC
• Fewer dogs in the building means less crowding and stress for everyone
• Every dog who leaves opens space for another animal who needs us
• And, obviously, a couch beats a kennel any day of the week

This is also a GREAT short-term opportunity if you’ve thought about fostering but weren’t sure where to start. It’s temporary, supplies are provided while they last, and our team is here to support you. If it’s going well, you’re always welcome to keep your foster longer!

Downtown businesses that would like to pick up candy from the Montgomery Economic Development Corporation should complete the candy request form by Friday, October 9 at 5:00 PM.
