The Committee to Elect Jonathan Davis is proud to announce Jonathan Davis’ candidacy for Montgomery County Commissioner; District 1. Jonathan Davis is a proud product of Montgomery and has a desire to see his community prosper, grow and CONNECT. At a young age, Jonathan Davis served as youth Vice President and President of the Alabama Baptist Southeast District for Christian Education. While in hi
gh school, Jonathan lead the Sidney Lanier ARMY JROTC Cadet Battalion as the battalion commander. While in college, Jonathan Davis served through various capacities to include Student Government Association Vice President of Legislative Affairs, Student Body President and Troy University System Board of Trustees Member. Jonathan has also served on various committees and boards to include:
*Pike County Chamber of Commerce Board
*Troy University Judicial Board
*Troy University Quality Enhancement Board
*Troy University Publication Board
Since graduating from Troy University, Jonathan has worked every day to contribute in a positive way to Montgomery and Montgomery County. Currently, Jonathan Davis serves as a City and District Magistrate for the City of Montgomery and Montgomery County. His involvement and interaction with the Community has equipped him with the knowledge to serve in an effectual way. Jonathan has a vision to Connect the Montgomery County Community by Renewing Faith through various services and efforts that include:
*Bridging Educational Opportunities for Youth
*Increasing public service accountability
*Igniting a movement of volunteerism
*Offering fresh ideas to existing public services
Jonathan truly has a heart to serve his Community. In doing so, he needs your help to continue the campaign of 'Renewing Faith Through Public Services' beyond the election season. Jonathan believes firmly that the people of Montgomery County have everything necessary to create the best Community. Inclusion of every child and adult citizen, every resource and service contribute to a CONNECTED Community. CONNECTING allows the Community to collectively brainstorm for world renowned tech-innovations and creative artistic expressions. CONNECTING allows us to grow closer as a community and thus learn that through our proximity to one another, we grow stronger.
