It was a privilege to join Ron Sparks and General Sumrall as we visited with Purple Heart recipients in Daphne.

One of the most important duties of the Lt. Governor is to chair the Alabama Military Stability Commission.

In this role, I will prioritize ensuring access to all of the best services and care for veterans in our state.

I joined Congresswoman Sewell and Congressman Figures at their town hall last night in Lowndes County. While some out-of-touch politicians want to force data centers on communities, cut health care, and allow prices to rise, we are fighting to make life better for all in Alabama.

The Huntsville Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. invited Doug and me to hear from Derrick Johnson, the President and CEO of the NAACP. His message was clear: we have the power to make change if we get out in record numbers in November.

The people of Alabama deserve leaders that will listen to their concerns about data centers and not dismiss those legitimate questions as “propaganda”.

While others talk a good game about what they’ll do for Alabamians in the future, I’ve been delivering results for years.

From the Peach Festival Parade in Chilton County to the Latino Festival in Jackson County to Freedom Fest and the Spring Social in Dekalb County, it was a fun day throughout Alabama!

Putting more money in your pockets. Strengthening our public schools. Making communities safer. Protecting hospitals.

My campaign has always focused on the issues that matter most to Alabamians, and that was never going to change based on the outcome of last night’s Republican runoff.

I have served the people of this great state for many years. As a public school teacher, I helped prepare our students for success beyond the classroom. As a lawyer, I defended Alabamians’ constitutional rights. As a legislator for House District 74, I worked across the aisle to deliver results for all Alabamians.

Before I entered public service, I promised myself that I would never be bought or bossed around by special interests. I have kept that promise.

I have consistently offered solutions, not distractions and have built a campaign based on bringing people together.

On November 3rd, the choice is clear: an Alabama for some or an Alabama for all.
