Recently, Ephrata Pioneer Fire Company, along with mutual aid partners, responded to a motor vehicle accident with entrapment.

Upon arrival, crews immediately went to work, each playing a critical role in the operation. Members secured the scene by shutting down roadways and creating safe work areas for emergency personnel, while others utilized Holmatro Pentheon and CORE tools to extricate the patients. Once freed, patients were transferred to EMS and transported to local hospitals for further care.

Great work by all members involved.

City of Hackensack Fire Department recently responded to an incident involving a patient trapped inside a trash chute. Upon arrival, crews requested additional resources and began investigating the situation to determine the patient's location.

Their investigation revealed that the patient had become trapped within the chute and was surrounded by backed-up trash. Using a combination of Holmatro rescue tools and saws, firefighters carefully removed panels from the trash chute discharge area to gain access and safely extricate the patient.

Once freed, the patient was transferred to EMS personnel for further evaluation and care.

The team at Palmer Municipal Fire Department is raising the bar with their new rescue truck, purpose-built for speed, efficiency, and firefighter safety.

Outfitted with Holmatro Rescue Tools, Holmatro OmniShore Stabilization Struts, Milwaukee lighting, and additional rescue equipment supplied by ESI Equipment, this apparatus was designed with one goal in mind: getting the right tools into firefighters' hands as quickly as possible.

Every piece of equipment has been strategically mounted for rapid deployment and easy access when minutes—and sometimes seconds—make all the difference. Battery-powered rescue tools are stored with charging systems integrated into the truck, ensuring they're always charged, maintained, and ready for the next call.

From vehicle extrications and stabilization incidents to technical rescue operations, Palmer's new rescue truck delivers the organization, capability, and readiness today's responders demand.

Congratulations to Palmer Municipal Fire Department on this impressive addition to their fleet. We're proud to have partnered with them to help build a rescue platform that's ready to perform when the community needs it most.
