Just a couple of reminders:
Golf Carts and Motorized Vehicles are NOT allowed on any trails at Altherr Nature Park.
All Dogs must be on a leash at all times and Dog Waste must be picked up and thrown away in the trash can or taken with you.
Please help us keep our parks clean, safe, and welcoming for all visitors.

Congrats to Patrolman Donley and K9 Luk. They brought home some hardware for finishing second in Building Narcotics at the annual K9 Olympics held at Vohne Liche Kennels.

Today we celebrated Part-Time Patrolman Marty Cotterman and his incredible 46-year career in law enforcement.

Marty began serving the Monticello community in 1994, and for more than three decades, he has been a familiar and trusted face within our department and community. Over the years, Marty has covered countless shifts, worked numerous festivals and community events, and always been willing to step up and help whenever he was needed.

His 46 years of service represent an incredible commitment to law enforcement and to the communities he has served. His experience, dedication, and willingness to lend a hand have been greatly appreciated by the Monticello Police Department.

Marty, thank you for your many years of service, your dedication to the badge, and all the time you’ve given to keeping our community safe. You have certainly earned this next chapter!
