In happier news, thanks for this donation of picture books! 🤩 We'll do a library reset soon and get them out there! And share them around town to other Monticello Little Free Libraries. 😊

Personal vendetta stickers have been marring books in several of our little free libraries over the last several months. All of the stewards we've spoken with are increasingly frustrated as this activity escalates. If you see books like this at the Monticello Little Free Library on Main, please remove them from the library and put them on the porch for documentation. Other stewards may want to handle things differently, but we've definitely been removing any that we see as we're out and about checking on the libraries.

Doing a little winter cleaning and need to find a new home for some books? Both Little Free Libraries need some selections. Drop your gently used kids' or adult nature-themed books off at the DeWitt, Macon, or Piatt office during regular business hours.
