The scholarship fund was established to help continue the legacy of our late Assemblyman, Jacob “Jake” Gunther, widely recognized as a staunch supporter of local law enforcement agencies, who was also committed to service to one’s community and recognition of scholastic excellence. Monies for the scholarship fund were raised, with generous support of area individuals and businesses, at the annual JAKE CLASSIC golf outing.
