These individuals have failed to fulfill their court-ordered restitution obligations to the victims of their crimes.
If you have any information that may assist the Sullivan County Probation Department in locating these individuals and facilitating the collection of restitution owed, please contact our office. Your assistance helps ensure that victims receive the compensation they are rightfully due.

Sullivan County government offices will be closed Monday, May 25 in observance of Memorial Day. The County encourages everyone to attend Memorial Day events this weekend to honor our deceased veterans, so many of whom sacrificed their lives for this nation and our freedoms.

On May 11, 2026, the Sullivan County Probation Department hosted Jude David, a national speaker/trainer, at Resorts World Catskills. This event was geared towards management/upcoming management and covered topics such as “Personalities in the Workplace” and age disparities in the workplace. The event was a great success, with 83 people in attendance.

Due to deteriorating road conditions and the mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain, Sullivan County Government offices are closing today, March 3, at 2 p.m.

Zafer Kabakci is the subject of a Probation Warrant, returnable to the Sullivan County Court. Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Zafer Kabakci is encouraged to the contact the Sullivan County Probation Department or New York State Police.

Please be advised that tomorrow, Monday, February 23, all Sullivan County Offices (other than 24-hour facilities) will not open until 11 a.m., weather-permitting. Any further delays or closings will be announced by 8 a.m.

Starting February 27, 2026, Sullivan County’s Child Support Collection Unit will no longer accept in-office payments.
“There are plenty of ways to securely and conveniently make child support payments,” notes Division of Health & Human Services Commissioner John Liddle. “Making payments online, through the mail or in-person at participating retailers also frees up our staff to focus on ensuring those funds quickly benefit children and their caregivers.”
These are the methods by which the County and State will accept child support payments:

Sullivan County government offices will be closed on Monday, February 16 in observance of the Presidents' Day holiday. Move Sullivan buses will NOT run that day. Offices will reopen Tuesday the 17th, except for DMV, which will reopen Thursday the 19th after computer upgrades.
