We are heartbroken to hear of the passing of Susan Brown Otto.

From the earliest days of Sullivan’s Legacy, Susan was one of our strongest believers. She understood our mission, supported our vision, and never hesitated to encourage the work we set out to do. Her faith in this effort, and in me personally, mattered more than she ever knew.

Susan stood for the values we fight to uphold: honor, integrity, and service to others. Her kindness, wisdom, and steady support helped shape the foundation of this mission.

We honor her life, her friendship, and her unwavering belief in what Sullivan’s Legacy could become.

We fought for Sheriff Mike Schiff in the primary and we’ve stood shoulder-to-shoulder with him ever since.

Through every personal smear, every hit, and every headline, he kept doing the job.

That’s leadership.

𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐟𝐟 𝐌𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐟𝐟 has spent decades delivering steady, principled leadership to Sullivan County. Under his command, crime has dropped, violent offenses are at record lows, and our county now receives critical federal support to combat the opioid epidemic, all thanks to his efforts to secure a high-intensity drug trafficking designation.

In the face of statewide staffing shortages, Sheriff Schiff took decisive action, hiring new correctional officers and deputies, securing more competitive pay through bipartisan cooperation with the legislature, and modernizing training across the department. Where others talk about solutions, he implements them.

• Legislative candidates like Terry Bernardo, George Conklin, Robert Doherty, and Mike Brooks were abandoned by their own party and left to fend for themselves during their races.

• Newly elected party leadership were denied participation in county meetings.

• The Sullivan County Young Republicans have been blacklisted from meetings since 2022, blocking the next generation of conservative voices.
