Join us in celebrating our 90th anniversary on Saturday, September 19th from 1pm to 3pm. Share fond memories of the library’s storied history and view never before seen artwork by the library’s namesake - Ethelbert Baldwin Crawford. Join in re-dedicating the restored 1936 plaque memorializing the 143rd Sullivan County Civil War Regiment and hear thoughts from a few of their descendants. There will be a slideshow of our 90-year history and light refreshments without.

Puzzle Tournament Alert! - Thursday, September 24th at 6PM (Adults Only)

Think you have what it takes to be the ultimate puzzle master? Every team will receive an identical puzzle, securely sealed in a box. The first team to finish—or the team with the fewest pieces left after two hours—will be crowned the winner!
Spots are limited to just eight teams, so be sure to register in advance! Teams can have up to four members, and must have a minimum of two.

To secure your spot and get your registration form, stop in-person at the library or call us at (845) 794-4660 ext. 4.
If you register via phone, you will need to come in-person before the event to pick up your registration form and rules.

We have an upcoming Fall Memoir Writing Workshop Series at the Ethelbert B. Crawford Public Library.
The deadline to submit samples has been extended to Friday, September 4th.
Submissions are being accepted right now for consideration.
Make sure to check out the flyer in this post, and our library calendar on our website for more details.
This is a great opportunity to sharpen your writing skills.
We can't wait to see your submissions!
