A simple sign can carry a powerful message.

As The Wall That Heals makes its way to White County, we invite families, classrooms, scout troops, and community groups to create handmade "Welcome Home" signs to display along the es**rt route. Whether made with markers, paint, crayons, or glitter, these signs are a meaningful way to honor our veterans and help give them the welcome home many never received.

Watch for the es**rt details below and join us in lining the route with gratitude, remembrance, and support. 🇺🇸

For many Vietnam veterans, "Welcome Home" are words they never heard when they returned from service.

Next week, White County has the opportunity to change that.

We invite you to join us as The Wall That Heals arrives in our community. Whether you attend a ceremony, volunteer, bring your family, or simply spend a few quiet moments at the memorial, your presence helps honor those who served and ensures their sacrifices are never forgotten.

Graduation season is full of excitement, possibility, and big decisions about the future. Behind every future teacher, welder, nurse, farmer, mechanic, musician, entrepreneur, or first-generation college student is a story and sometimes, financial barriers that can make those dreams feel just out of reach. One of the things that made Women Giving Together so excited about bringing The Wall That Heals to White County was the opportunity to create meaningful experiences for our community, especially for young people and families.

This is more than a visit. It’s a chance to learn, reflect, ask questions, and connect across generations.

Guided group tours are now available! Check out the details below and consider bringing your organization, church, club, summer group, or family to experience this special event together. 🇺🇸

Did you know guided group tours are available during The Wall’s visit to White County? Tours can be tailored for veterans organizations, churches, businesses, youth groups, civic clubs, summer programs, families, and more.

In addition to experiencing the nearly football-field-sized replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, groups can explore the Mobile Education Center and learn more about the stories, sacrifices, and history connected to The Wall.

Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs) may be a required part of retirement accounts, but they can also be a meaningful way to support the causes closest to your heart while potentially reducing your tax burden.

For many families, this simple giving option transforms retirement dollars into lasting impact right here in our community.
