The Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office has obtained active arrest warrants for Joseph Ronnie Raker, age 46, in connection with the double-homicide investigation at 740 Otter Creek Road.

Raker is wanted on two counts of homicide, with nationwide extradition authorized.

Based on investigative developments, Raker should be considered dangerous.

Anyone who knowingly harbors, conceals, transports, or otherwise assists Raker in avoiding arrest will be investigated and prosecuted under applicable law.

Anyone who sees Raker or has information about his location should immediately call 911 or contact the Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office at (850) 745-7100.

A reward of up to $10,000 through the Florida Sheriff’s Association and the US Marshal Service is available for information leading to Raker’s arrest.

PLEASE talk, text, snap, email etc ALL your friends and family about scams!!!! Fake missed jury duty dates, supposedly warrants for your arrest and past due bills are at the top of the scammer’s lists because they work!!!! Typical victims are simply trying to “do the right thing”, not naive or in any certain age/wealth/education demographic. Please help us continue to spread the word!

We are receiving several reports a day in reference to a Jefferson County Sheriff's Office Deputy (or another Law Enforcement agency) contacting citizens about a warrant for arrest they supposedly have or a debt they supposedly owe. The scammer will usually ask for money to 'take care' of the situation as well as ask for personal information. 🛑❌ THESE CALLS ARE SCAMS❗️
