The Center’s Executive Team participated in their annual retreat today. This is a time of reviewing, strategizing, and casting vision for our organization and how we can best position our services to meet the current and emerging needs of the community. They began the day visiting an amazing business, Heart & Flour , that utilizes the talents of young people with disabilities to make amazing treats. They then learned about some of the vocational services provided to the Springfield Community through Sparc. Lastly, they gleaned the wisdom of Steve Thomas from The Scooch Project on the topics of how to create and maintain a healthy work culture. One of the nuggets was, β€œClarity is crucial.”

Thankful for the work that Piatt County ROSC achieved over their last several years of service. We look forward to absorbing some of the responsibilities through existing programs and helping to continue to advocate for those in recovery. Thank you Piatt County ROSC!

As one of our final posts, we wanted to say thank you to all of the amazing people who helped advance the mission of Piatt County ROSC over the last four years. This community rallied to the call of care for the Recovery Community and our PLEs did a fantastic job of directing us how best to serve and support them. While the "program" of ROSC will be ending, many of the services and supports will be absorbed by other PCMHC services so that we can continue to remind everyone "That Recovery is Possible!!!" We will keep this page open for the next two weeks so that everyone can be redirected to the proper care staff and so that others may choose to share with our followers the ways that ROSC helped them over the years. Thank you again for being such a great community that cares and advocates for those in the Recovery Community!

It is a rare occurrence when we can get the whole work family together. Friday was a great opportunity for staff to interact with other departments, pick up some helpful skills, and participate in a few fun activities. Plus our awesome board stopped by to serve and surprise staff with some sweet treats from Nothing Bundt Cakes. We are so thankful for this amazing team who produce beautiful things everyday.

PCMHC Staff and Consumers are very thankful for the leadership provided by our talented Board of Directors. These volunteers lend their time, talents, and treasures to helping advance The Center’s mission, to ensure consumers receive excellent care, and provide support to our dedicated team. This year we would like to acknowledge and give thanks to some of our Board of Directors who will be completing their service. This is done through formal board resolution, a small gift, and their names permanently recorded on a plaque at our office. Thank you to Cassandra Salvatore, Charlie Montgomery, Ray Jones, and Mark Hughes for your dedicated service!
