Business owners, mark your calendars! 📆

The first in a series of free virtual workshops is coming up soon! “The Digital Tune-up: Prepping Your Business for Online Growth” will be hosted on Wednesday, March 25, from 12 – 1 p.m. ET.

In the workshop, experts from Main Street America's Small Business Hub will walk through an essential checklist designed to catch the critical details that often slip through the cracks. We know that when you are focused on the day-to-day reality of running a business, it is easy to forget the 'digital housekeeping', but those small gaps can add up to big missed opportunities.

We Love Our Downtown...

Monticello, GA became a Main Street Affiliate in July, 2017…

What is Main Street? The Main Street initiative is a comprehensive, community-based revitalization program developed by the National Trust of Historic Preservation’s Main Street Center. Started in 1980, Georgia was one of six pilot program states and to date serves nearly 100 state-wide designated communities. Main Street has transformed the way communities think about their down towns and the management of their commercial districts

The Downtown Development Authority (DDA) is facilitated by a Board of Directors who act as catalysts for economic development in downtown Monticello. The Mayor and City Council appoint Board members. The Downtown Development Authority Board members serve in a leadership role on new improvement projects and programs within the DDA boundaries, and they raise money from the community for downtown events and revitalization efforts.
