A huge thank you to Arby’s in Monticello for giving their customers the opportunity to round up their purchases and give back to the community! They chose to donate those funds to our Grace Over Thorns (Celebrate Recovery) ministry here at Faith Covenant Fellowship, helping us continue to grow and reach others for the Lord.

We’re so grateful for their generosity and for everyone who gave!

I know we’re still several weeks away, but it’s exciting to see our local businesses starting to register! 🎉
This is, by far, one of our best events, and definitely one of my personal favorites! ❤️ There’s nothing better than seeing our local business community come together, connect, and engage with our high school students.
If you’ve been thinking about registering your business, now is the time! We’d love to have you be part of this year’s event.
📧 Send me an email at [email protected], and I’ll get you hooked up!
I’m looking forward to hearing from you and seeing all of our amazing local businesses there! 🙌

LEAD Workshop Reflection...

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to attend a LEAD (Leadership Empowerment and Development) workshop at Ivy Tech Community College, presented by Abby Curl.

Interestingly, this was the exact same workshop I had the privilege of hosting last year! It was such a great experience to be on the other side of the table this time around. 😊

The workshop was an excellent refresher and, honestly, one of the best leadership workshops I’ve ever attended. The training is designed to help employers develop confident, effective leaders at every level, with each session blending practical tools and real-world applications to strengthen communication, supervision, and team performance.

One of my favorite takeaways was “The 5 Chairs” by Louise Evans. It’s a simple but powerful concept that really makes you stop and think about how you show up in your personal and professional life.

I highly recommend taking a few minutes to watch the video:

After watching it, ask yourself:

Which chair are you? 🪑
And perhaps more importantly…
Which chair do you wish to be?

Leadership is a journey, and sometimes the best growth comes from simply taking a moment to reflect on how we communicate, respond, and show up for others.

Discover The 5 Chairs, a revolutionary behavioral framework by Louise Evans empowering emotional intelligence and conscious leadership worldwide.
