It is with profound sadness that the officers and members of the Sullivan County Dive & Rescue Team announce the passing of Chuck Kinney, Past Chief of the Kauneonga Lake Fire Department and Battalion Coordinator for the Sullivan County Bureau of Fire.

Chuck was a dedicated leader, mentor, and friend whose commitment to the fire and rescue service touched countless lives throughout Sullivan County. His vision, leadership, and unwavering support were instrumental in building the Sullivan County Dive & Rescue Team into the respected organization it is today.

His legacy of service, professionalism, and selflessness will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of serving beside him. Chuck's contributions will never be forgotten, and he will be deeply missed by our team and the entire emergency services community.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Chuck's family, friends, and all who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace.

Awesome drill on the river today in Narrowsburg NY. Thanks goes out Narrowsburg FD for hosting it. And to Tustin volunteer EMS squad, Highland lake FD, Kauneonga Lake FD, Bloomingburg FD, and Youngsville FD and the Orange County and Pennsylvania battalion 8 water rescue departments Port Jervis FD, Sparrowbush FD, and Matamoris FD great job by all.
