⚠️ Cemetery Storm Damage Update

During last Friday’s severe storm, a massive tree fell at the cemetery on Highway 587, causing damage to tombstones in the area.

The Town of Monticello Public Works crew will be at the cemetery tomorrow morning to begin cleaning up the fallen tree and debris.

We encourage anyone with friends or loved ones buried at the cemetery to please check their gravesites, as tombstones were damaged as a result of the fallen tree.

We appreciate everyone’s patience as our crew works to safely clean up the area.

Water Service Update 💦

We have a ruptured main water line at the corner of McLain Street and Barnes Circle.

Our Public Works crew is already on scene and working to get the line repaired as quickly as possible.

The apartments on McLain Street will be without water until the repair is complete.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while our crew works to restore service. We will provide an update as soon as the repair is complete.
