MSMS BIPOC/Multilinqual Summer Camp Program is week-long summer camp that was held at All Together Now Camp off Cherry Tree Hill in East Montpelier. Nineteen students from the BIPOC Affinity space attended, and five MHS BIPOC students served as counselors for the program. Local restaurants provided a variety of foods.

The students learned cricket and swimming, painted with watercolors, and generally had a wonderful camp experience.

The camp was a great success, bringing together students who generally are in different classes, to share experiences together!

Your Montpelier Rotary Club was a contributing force to making this camp happen and looks forward to supporting the camp in years to come. Message us to learn how you can get involved.

Montpelier Rotary provides weekend nourishment to local elementary students through their backpack program. The need this year has more than doubled in our community. Over school break, we packed a special treat for our recipients in their heavier food bags, hopeful for full bellies and some seasonal cheer.

We welcome any support you can offer our programming. Donations to our nonprofit can be made through Venmo -Rotary or by sending a check to our 501c3 at

Montpelier Rotarians ready for the annual Pioneer Picnic on this steamy Monday!

Aside from the brief hiatus in 2020, who knows for how long we’ve embraced this tradition? This year, with live music! (See that video in comments.)

It was another pandemic inflicted wild year… and yet, wildly successful.

Reintroduced the Picnic at Pioneer Apartments
Returned to State Street for Polio+ Awareness
Reinstated our role in Toys for Tots
Spearheaded the reinvented Kitzmiller Coat Drive as a Campaign for the second year
Continued our weekly deliveries through the “Backpack Program”, where weekend sustenance is distributed for food insecure elementary students
Awarded $64,000 to four local high school graduates for their continued education
Introduced a new project: Engagement on Homelessness (More in future posts!)
We met both virtually and in-person, at a host of locations. Constantly adjusting to pandemic inflicted situations

And none of this would be possible without our fundraising efforts and generous members of our community and local businesses. THANK YOU!

Cheers to Kim Bent as he takes the reigns as Montpelier Rotary’s 2022-23 President!
