Green Up Day is an annual statewide clean up day where Vermont residnets of all ages go out and clean up litter from their town roads and waterways. A few clean ups of illegal dumping. Names were found in the trash and state authorities will be following up. The pull offs will also be barricaded off. Thanks to all the good people who worked to clean these locations and all who are greening up Vermont. Our state is a treasure worth protecting. I encourage those who are illegally dumping to join your community in a clean up today to experience how good it feels to help rather than hinder.

Join us for this amazing activity that gives back to our communities, our state, and most importantly our environment.
Your service helps keep Vermont a healthy place to live for generations to come.
Participate in the Golden Gloves contest and then head to an apres celebration (see graphic for locations) for more fun and fantastic prizes.

REMINDER: Green Up Day is for roadway and public space litter only. Check greenupvermont.org for your town directives.
Save your unwanted tires for the Wheels for Warmth event - they are not for Green Up Day and many towns will not take them.
