May 25th was National Missing Children’s Day.

Yesterday, today, and every day, Pennsylvania’s district attorneys stand with families searching for answers and remain committed to pursuing every lead that could bring missing children home.

If you have information about a missing child, contact local law enforcement or the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children at 1‑800‑THE‑LOST (1‑800‑843‑5678).

Prevention matters, too. NCMEC’s KidSmartz program helps young children learn the 4 Rules of Personal Safety through simple, appropriate lessons and activities.

We remember the fallen, support the families and colleagues they leave behind, and express our deep gratitude to every officer who continues to serve and protect our communities with courage and commitment. Thank you.

District Attorney O’Malley and our Victim Witness Coordinator, Kaelin, were honor to participate in the discussion that took place yesterday with the Children’s Advocacy Center and legislators.

The CAC is a very important program that we work closely with for our child victims. We want to spread knowledge to others about the work that they do and how important it is for our office.

For many teens across the Commonwealth, the prom is a special rite of passage and a fun celebration for the end of the school year. Pennsylvania’s district attorneys want every student to enjoy the night safely and make memories they’ll be proud of.

A few reminders will help your teens stay safe:

🚫No alcohol or drugs—underage drinking and impaired driving put lives at risk
🚕Plan your transportation—use a designated driver, rideshare, or trusted adult
📱Look out for friends—understand the risk of dating violence and check in with each other throughout the night
📢Report unsafe behavior—if something feels wrong, speak up

Let’s work together so prom night can be joyful, memorable, and safe for everyone.
