‼️THURSDAY AUGUST 6 RED FLAG WARNING‼️
🚩🔥 US National Weather Service Grand Junction Colorado has issued a Red Flag Warning for Thursday from 12pm to 8pm.
We are expecting Southwest winds of 15to 15 mph and gusts up to 30 mph. Relative Humidity is expected to be 6 to 11%.
‼️🔥These conditions create an elevated risk for rapid wildfire growth and spread. Please use extreme caution with any activity that could spark a fire and help us keep our community safe.
‼️ REMINDER: Montrose County is still under Stage 2 Fire Restrictions. This means no fireworks, no campfires, no agricultural burning, no welding outside, and no use of chainsaws without the use of a spark arresting device.
