It’s been busy here at LeeComm and behind every number is someone in our community who needed help and a dispatcher ready to answer the call. 💛

Here’s a look at what April brought:
🚨 3,550 total calls for service
📞 1,712 incoming 911 calls
👮 2,572 law enforcement calls
🔥 427 fire/rescue calls
🚑 462 EMS calls
🚓 840 traffic stops handled

Our dispatchers work around the clock supporting our first responders and the residents of Lee County Iowa and we couldn’t be more proud of the teamwork that keeps everything moving.

As National Public Safety Telecommunicator Week comes to a close, here's what our 12 dispatchers did this week:
* Answered hundreds of 911 calls
*Coordinated responses for 16 agencies across Lee County
*Talked callers through emergencies while help was on the way
*Worked nights and weekends without hesitation
They don't do this job for recognition. They do it because when someone needs help, someone has to answer.
This week, we celebrated them. Every other week, they're here doing the work - quietly, professionally, and selflessly.

He brings dedication and commitment to every shift.
