With the upcoming holiday we have received many questions about using fireworks in the Borough. The borough does not have an ordinance on fireworks, however the Borough does have an ordnance against shooting any type of projectile which would include fireworks.

Also Pa. Law H.B. 542 states that fireworks cannot be discharged within 150 feet of an occupied structure whether or not a person is actually present.

In conclusion no fireworks would be allowed to be discharged in the borough other than sparklers and spark emitting fountains that are 150 feet from an occupied structure.
