Family Conferences will be held August 17–19. Parents and students will attend together to meet the teacher, see the classroom, and complete paperwork. Please be on the lookout for classroom updates and conference sign-ups!

How exciting for the future of ECC!!!

🎉 A new MCSD early childhood facility is one step closer to becoming a reality!

This week, the MCSD Board of Education officially accepted a $6.19 million Building Excellent Schools Today (BEST) Grant from the Colorado Department of Education, allowing the district to move forward with plans to renovate the Montrose Field House property into a new early childhood facility.

BEST grants are highly competitive statewide awards that support school construction and facility improvement projects through partnerships between the State of Colorado and local school districts.

MCSD's early childhood facility proposal ranked fifth among the 17 projects selected for funding from 55 applications reviewed statewide! 👏

Another fun Friday at ECC—and another amazing costume!

We still have openings for 2026-2027:
• Half-day 3-year-olds
• Half-day 4-year-olds
• Full-day 4-year-olds

UPK covers all 4-year-olds for at least a half day, and many families may qualify for additional hours. Tuition options are also available for all programs.

If you have a child that is going to be 4 years old by August 1, 2026 ...

UPK applications are now open for families returning to ECC next year under Continuity of Care. Priority eligibility includes current students, siblings of students, and families of staff.

There will be another open window to apply. The earlier you apply the better!
