Calling all employers and job seekers in Montrose! The Montrose Regional Library, Colorado Mesa University: Montrose, and the Workforce Colorado Rural Alliance (Colorado Workforce Centers in Montrose & Delta) are collaborating on a career fair on Wednesday, September 23 at 10am – 1pm on the CMU Montrose Campus (Cascade Plaza located at the intersection of South Cascade & 3rd Street). The Montrose Healthcare Career Fair will focus on healthcare professions in Montrose and Delta. This career fair has been timed to encourage attendance from CMU students. However, all job seekers, high school students, and those seeking employment in healthcare, are encouraged to join this career fair.
The event is strategically scheduled to maximize employer reach by holding hours to capture students as they transition between classes. This career fair is being marketed widely to job seekers throughout Montrose, so employers can meet local candidates of all skill sets and backgrounds. Employers must register for the career fair through the Colorado Workforce Center in Montrose by Wednesday, September 16. Please contact the Colorado Workforce Center at (970) 249-7783 or [email protected] to register. Employers will be treated to a complimentary lunch, and can give away free swag at their tables.
