Last night, City Council recognized Steve Gold for more than 27 years of service on the Montrose DDA.

Few people dedicate that much time and energy to their community. Throughout his years of service, Steve has been involved in many important projects and initiatives, helping preserve pieces of Montrose history while contributing to improvements that continue to benefit our community today.

Whether serving behind the scenes, helping guide major projects, or simply showing up year after year, Steve’s dedication to Montrose has never wavered.

Thank you, Steve, for your decades of service, leadership, and commitment to Montrose. Your contributions will leave a lasting legacy.

Flags are flying, Hometown Heroes banners are up, and flowers are beginning to brighten the community as we head into summer.

A big thank you to the DPW and Montrose Greenhouse for helping bring it all together!

Honoring our Veterans throughout the City of Montrose. 🇺🇸

Thank you to all who have contributed to the placement of our veteran banners, helping recognize the brave men and women who have served our nation and community with honor and sacrifice.

A special thank you to our City Department of Public Works (DPW), and Downtown Development Authority (DDA) for their teamwork and dedication in helping make this meaningful project possible.

These banners stand as a proud tribute to our local veterans and a reminder that their service will never be forgotten.

The DPW started hanging flags today. 🇺🇸

Next week, our Hometown Hero banners honoring veterans and first responders will be going up, and flowers should be in place before Memorial Day as we get ready for summer in Montrose.
