As a designated beneficiary, Tri-Lakes Cares will receive $1 from every $2.50 reusable Fight Hunger bag purchased in June and July 2026 at the King Soopers located at 1070 W. Baptist Road. Looking for a great way to spend a Saturday? Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 6th- the Tri-Lakes Lions Club is hosting a Fishing Derby at Palmer Lake! The event kicks off at 8 a.m., and your entrance fee is simply a donation of non-perishable food items to support Tri-Lakes Cares. We’re excited to invite you to our Buy-It-Forward event this weekend (May 22-24) at Safeway in Monument! Our team has prepared pre-filled donation bags with items that Tri-Lakes Cares urgently needs.
Stop by our table:
Friday: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. or until sold out
Saturday: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. or until sold out
Sunday: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. or until sold out
Grab a donation bag and take it to the checkout—your cashier will simply add it to your grocery total. We’ll take care of the rest, making sure all donated items go directly to Tri-Lakes Cares.

This month, we’re proud to celebrate Jan Vaughn, one of our incredible volunteers! Jan’s compassion, dedication, and generosity make a meaningful difference for our neighbors every day, and we’re so grateful to have her as part of the Tri-Lakes Cares family. 💙

Jan has supported TLC for years through donations—and now shares her time and talents as a volunteer.

One of her favorite memories? Helping prepare and distribute holiday gifts to families in need.

When she’s not volunteering, Jan enjoys reading, solving Sudoku, relaxing with friends, and dreaming up her next big adventure—like a month-long journey through Southern France, Italy, Spain, and Portugal.

Jan believes deeply in TLC’s mission, recognizing the vital role we play in providing food, healthcare, and housing support while helping neighbors build better lives.
