On August 24, 2026, at approximately 8:00 p.m., the Monument Police Department responded to a traffic collision involving an E-Moto and a vehicle on Baptist Road east of Jackson Creek Parkway.

The E-Moto rider sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital.

This remains an active investigation. No further information is available at this time.

Additional information will be released as it is confirmed and appropriate for public release.

💙 One Night. One Community. Countless Connections. 💙

Tuesday night wasn't just an event. It was the beginning of what we hope becomes a long-standing Monument tradition.

To everyone who came out to National Night Out, thank you. Seeing families, friends, neighbors, and visitors filling the park, meeting first responders, and enjoying an evening together was everything we hoped it would be.

National Night Out is about more than police cars and equipment displays. It's about building relationships, strengthening trust, and reminding one another that we all play a part in keeping Monument a safe, welcoming place to call home.

A special thank you goes to our partners at Monument Fire Protection District, Town of Monument - Government, our community partners, and everyone who helped bring this event to life. Your support made our National Night Out a tremendous success.

To everyone who stopped by, shared a conversation, let your kids explore our vehicles, or simply spent the evening with us, thank you for making this such a memorable night.
