On behalf of Asia-Pacific ICUDDR, I would like to thank you Dr. Hamad for the excellence host. Please accept our condolences on the passing of His excellency Sheikh Khalifaj Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE President.

Monthly meeting of members. We agreed that there are 3 sub-committee include research, education and training. For research, Dr.Elmer from university of Manila, Philippines is a lead of the group. The job description is developing a network of universities engaged in the research on addiction prevention and treatment. For Education, Dr. Kristiana from university of Indonesia is a lead of the group. The job description is developing a network and engage students and addiction professionals in academic and continuing education programs in addiction studies, and promote career opportunities in prevention and treatment. For Training, Miss Verna is a lead of the group. The job description is to facilitate worldwide training and a transformation of the addiction prevention and treatment workforces by harness the power of university networks.

Collaboration between Asia-Pacific Regional Collaboration Center of ICUDDR (AP-RCC-ICUDDR) and 3 Universities in South Korea, Myongji University, Handong Global University and Chongshin University. Thank you very much Prof.Hyundeob Cho, President of Korean Psychological Association who support AP-RCC-ICUDDR and special thanks to Prof. Nami Kim who kind help and supports a lot of things including students and staffs exchange.
For Myanmar, I met Mrs.Shwe Zin Nyunt, Senior Program Management Specialist, Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affaires(INL), Embassy of the United State of America, Yangon. We discussed a work plan for future collaboration between AP-RCC-ICUDDR and local universities. By the way, then I met Dr.Nilar Kyu, Head Psychology Department, the University of Yangon. We agreed future collaboration and request to use UTC/ UPC as soon as possible.

On the behalf of Directors of Office of Regional Collaboration Center of Asia-Pacific of ICUDDR, I would like to say thank you very much to Dr.Fernando SalaZar Silva and his awesome team. I can touch of your hospitality and warmth welcome us, thank you. Here I completed my mission at the 4th Annual ICUDDR conference. I had a board meeting, and was selected to be speaker of 2 panels. It is so appropriate to everyone who organized and kind supports. Although I had altitude sickness but it was not barriers much. Itโ€™s because of I have a great colleagues supported and kind help. Finally I would like to thank you the High End participants in my class included Mr. William McGlynn, Senior Advisor, Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affaires(INL), U.S. department of State, Mr.Brian A Morales, Director, Global Drug Demand Reduction Division, Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affaires(INL), U.S. department of State, Prof.Dr. Roger Peters, Vice President of ICUDDR, University of South Florida and distinguished guests who joined in my class. This is the first cohort of global trainer of Drug Demand Reduction. I was selected for this opportunity joined together with honored guests from around the globe. About AP-RCC-ICUDDR

International Consortium of Universities for Drug Demand Reduction (ICUDDR) supports the rapid improvement in competencies and skills among current and future generations of addiction professionals, to meet the increasing demand for prevention, treatment and public health services. Toward this end, the ICUDDR facilitates networking among universities to promote high quality education and training in the field of addiction prevention, treatment and public health interventions. It also pursues related applied addictions research, outreach and advocacy.

In specific regions the Regional Coordinating Centers are founded. They provide networking activities among their region and support of the local universities and other facilities with respect to the local traditions http://www.icuddr.com/coordinating-centres/regional-coordinating-centres/
