In addition to knocking doors this weekend, I went straight into several speaking engagements on Saturday and Sunday. It was a pleasure being able to meet so many new faces from the district at these events. Thank you so much for the folks who put them on and invited me to be a part of it.

If we have not yet met, and you would like to set up a time, please let me know and I will squeeze as many one-on-one as possible between now and election day.

Also, today is the last day to request your absentee ballot if you have not already done so. If you need help doing that, please let me know and I would be happy to show you how.

🦏🙌🇺🇸Reasons I am thankful to (again) NOT receive an endorsement from RINO Mark McBride:

🦏Education Spending and the 2018 Teacher Pay Raise Package

McBride was heavily involved in negotiating the education funding package during the 2018 teacher walkout. Organizations such as the Oklahoma Council of Public Affairs (OCPA) noted that he worked with Democrats to pass tax increases and increased education spending. For fiscal conservatives who oppose tax increases and government growth, this was a major concern.

🦏Constitutional Scorecards

The constitutionalist organization behind the Oklahoma Freedom Index gave McBride a lifetime constitutional score of approximately 50%, far below what many constitutional conservatives would consider exemplary. Their scorecard cited votes they viewed as expanding government or spending.

🦏Support for Large State Spending Measures

Critics point to votes supporting large education appropriations and capital projects as evidence that he was more of a pragmatic governing conservative than a limited-government constitutional conservative.

🦏Relationship with Education Establishment

As Chairman of the House Appropriations & Budget Education Subcommittee, McBride often worked closely with public education stakeholders. Grassroots activists who favor school choice, shrinking government education, or major education reform sometimes viewed him as too aligned with the education bureaucracy.

🇺🇸So if your definition of a Republican is strict limited government, low spending, low taxes, and consistently high constitutional scorecard ratings, critics would argue McBride falls short.🇺🇸

District 24 deserves a Senator who actually belongs to district 24. Not someone shopping around for a seat.
Yes, I have lived here since 2014. But I began disaster relief in May 2013. I ran administration from my home in Chicago as I had just undergone hip surgery. I came down in June and physically began helping with relief. After my wedding in September 2013, my husband applied for a job transfer, and we moved in February 2014. - just in case anybody wanted to question my timeline of residency. 😂💪✅
