EARLY VOTING IS OPEN IN OKLAHOMA!

As educators, we know that informed participation strengthens our communities. Early voting for Oklahoma’s June 16 Primary Election begins Thursday, June 11, and runs through Saturday, June 13. Early voting hours are Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

You can view your personalized sample ballot before heading to the polls here:
• OK Voter Portal: https://oklahoma.gov/elections/ovp

What’s on the ballot?
Depending on where you live and your party registration, your ballot may include primary elections for federal, state, and local offices. Oklahoma has closed primaries, meaning voters generally must be registered with a party to participate in that party’s primary election.

State Question 832
All Oklahoma voters, including Independents, may vote on State Question 832. The measure would gradually increase Oklahoma’s minimum wage to $15 per hour by 2029 and allow future adjustments tied to inflation.

Before heading to the polls, take a few minutes to review your sample ballot, learn about the candidates and issues, and make a plan to vote.

Your vote is your voice. Let’s make sure Oklahoma educators are heard.

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!

This week, we celebrate the incredible educators who show up every day for students. Educators who are inspiring, encouraging, advocating, and making a difference far beyond the classroom walls. Teaching is more than a profession; it’s a commitment to shaping futures, building communities, and creating opportunities for every student to succeed. The work is demanding, often unseen, and always essential.

At TEAM, we stand with our educators by advocating for the respect, support, and resources you deserve. Your voices drive our work, and your dedication strengthens our schools and community.

To all of our teachers: thank you for your passion, your resilience, and the countless ways you support students each and every day. This week and every week, TEAM celebrates you and stands with you.

TEAM members and education supporters are encouraged to wear red May 1st in solidarity with our Union siblings.

For educators, May Day is a reminder that labor history is alive in their fight for a democratic and well-resourced public education system. It connects educators to a broader labor movement—and reinforces that improving public education requires organizing together, just like workers have done for generations. Wear on May 1 for .
