From all of us at South Branch Valley Stockyards, we would like to wish the youth exhibitors of the Mineral County Fair the very best of luck this week!

Your hard work, early mornings, late nights, dedication, and commitment to caring for your livestock do not go unnoticed. The lessons learned through 4-H and FFA—responsibility, sportsmanship, leadership, and work ethic—will serve you well far beyond the show ring.

Whether you're showing cattle, sheep, goats, hogs, or other livestock, take pride in all the effort you've put in to get to this point. Remember, you've already accomplished something special by putting in the work.

We look forward to seeing the next generation of agricultural leaders represent our industry with pride.

🎉 Happy Birthday to Roger Pratt! 🎉

We’re a little late posting, but we couldn’t let the day pass without recognizing someone who has meant so much to our stockyard.

Roger has been a longtime fixture at the stockyards and a familiar face to generations of livestock producers throughout the region. As the previous owner, he dedicated countless years to building and growing the market into what it is today.

While ownership has changed hands, Roger continues to be an important part of the stockyards family, always willing to lend a hand, share his knowledge, and support the market and its customers. His dedication to the livestock industry and to the people who make this business possible has never gone unnoticed.

We are incredibly grateful for Roger’s continued support, friendship, and commitment to South Branch Valley Stockyards.
