Harper’s Ferry Field Trip buses are coming through Wardensville now and should be at Moorefield Town Park around 4-4:15.

Important Information for Harper’s Ferry Field Trip for 8th grade and 6th grade students that have 8th grade teachers:
All students were given information sheets at school. All students must come to school as normal tomorrow morning so that attendance can be taken. Students will board buses at MMS and buses will meet parents at Moorefield Town Park. If you are chaperoning the trip and riding the bus, please park in the parking lots by the BBQ pits and the playground to avoid traffic for potential baseball and softball games in the afternoon. Parent should arrive at the park by 8:00 am. If you are driving yourself to Harper’s Ferry, Mrs. Shirk will give you a parking and admission pass before we depart Moorefield Town Park. There is a high possibility of rain, so students should dress accordingly and bring an umbrella if possible. All students will be provided a school lunch. We will meet to board buses at 2:00pm and plan to leave Harper’s Ferry by 2:30. All buses will return to Moorefield Town Park between 4:30 and 5:00 pm. All students must be picked up at the town park. We will post updates for ETA on this page.

We would like to congratulate Coach Barr and MMS boys track members on their impressive showing at the WV State Invitational yesterday. Coach Barr successfully coached six state/nationally ranked athletes earning fourth place out of eighteen teams. They received many 1st and 2nd place ribbons.

Day 5 wrapped up an amazing Teacher Appreciation Week at Moorefield Middle School! 💙💛

Teachers and staff enjoyed a yogurt bar sponsored by Central Tie, along with delicious sandwich trays from Shop-N-Save and homemade soup sponsored by the MMS FFA.

We are incredibly thankful for the overwhelming support shown by our local businesses, organizations, and community members throughout the week. Your generosity helped make our teachers and staff feel valued and appreciated.
