Thank you to whomever left the generous donation at the Little Library! Lots of Kids books!
I plan to add some of our Christmas themed books to the library this weekend! So, keep an eye out for those!

It's Mooreland Fair week! We hope you will stop by our Little Library while you are in town and check out our book selection! I added quite a few books this evening, so it is all stocked up and ready! There are some really great books in there! Board books, picture books, early readers, chapter books, and adult books all available for the picking!

Every inch of the Little Library was packed with books! It was a little overwhelming to try took through it and see if there was anything in it that you might like to read! I appreciate the donations!
Tonight I completely emptied the library to start fresh and make it easier to look through! I put all new books in, so look through the pictures and see if anything interests you! Of these books I have read The Book Thief, The Poisonwood Bible, and Silver Girl. All three were pretty good!

I missed our official 1 year anniversary, it was last week. However, I wanted to go ahead and take the time to celebrate this a bit late! I'm am so grateful for all of the people who have made this project possible! I am also thankful to all of the people who utilize and support our Little Library! I love being the steward of The Mooreland Little Library, and I love sharing my love of reading with my community!

I am a huge, huge fan of audiobooks. They allow me to listen to my endless TBR (to be read) pile, while still being a busy mom who loves to read and paint. I can drive my child to and from all of her practices, cook dinner, or finish a painting, all while listening to a book! When I became I mom, I felt like my love of reading had to be put on the back burner because I just couldn't find the quiet time to read. Then, I discovered audiobooks!
Someone left us 2 audiobooks. I have not read either of these books, however, my daughter has read the Young Reader's version of The Art of Racing in the Rain. She loved it! If you think you would like to try listening a book, why not try one of these?

When I checked on the Little Library today, someone had left a great donation of books! One of the books left was actually a book that I had also recently purchased for use at the Little Library! What a coincidence! This must mean it is a great book to check out! The Thing About Jellyfish, is classified as a YA book...but as an adult, I really enjoyed reading it!
In the book, Suzy's best friend has died in a drowning accident. To make sense of this traumatic event, Suzy has convinced herself that the true cause of Franny's death must really be a rare Jellyfish sting. Suzy knows many facts other kids don't, but she just can't understand how her friend, who was a great swimmer, could drown! She is willing to plan a trip across the world by herself to prove her Jellyfish theory.
This is a book about friendship, grief, coping, and healing. It is a great read for all ages!
Come and pick it up! Don't worry if it is gone when you get to the library! I have a second copy 😉
