Lakeview Volunteer Fire Department Lakeview Volunteer Fire Department was established in 1977. We currently operate out of two stations and cover 79 square miles.

We operate 2 Engines, 2 Pumper-Tankers, Tanker and 2 Brush trucks.

Lakeview Fire Department is excited to announce we will receive $56,490.00 from the Tennessee State Fire Marshal Equipment and Training Grant. This Grant is fully funded, (at no cost to taxpayers). This grant opportunity will allow us to purchase/update equipment that will better us as a department. Congratulations to all other departments receiving funds on this grant and thank you to everyone at the Tennessee State Fire Marshal's Office as well as Tennessee State Department of Insurance and Commerce for the help and dedication for this opportunity. Thank you to Governor Bill Lee for signing the Bill allowing $20 Million Dollars to help Fire Departments across the State.
This grant applies to fire departments in Tennessee helping small departments like us tremendously! Fire departments eligible for this grant must first be at least 50% volunteer staffed, meet minimum training requirements, must have documented call volume meeting criteria, and meet other State and Federal requirements. We would also like to thank the personnel of Lakeview Fire Department for their dedication to our community, working together for the safety of our community, and their willingness to always be better. With that, we are better equipped because of grants like this. Without these grants it would be impossible for small towns to be equipped properly. So a big Thank You to everyone that helped make this possible!

BOIL WATER ADVISORY — MOORESBURG UTILITY DISTRICT

Due to the ongoing water outage, a Boil Water Advisory has been issued for all Mooresburg Utility District customers, effective immediately. Directions for Boiling Water Bring all water to a rolling boil for at least 3 minutes, and let it cool before using, or use bottled water. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, and food preparation until further notice. All water leak information updates will be posted on the Mooresburg Utility District page.
