This , we’re honoring a true trailblazer: Beth Shelly.
In 1976, Beth became the first female firefighter at Hose Company No. 1, paving the way for every woman who has worn our uniform since.

We are incredibly proud of her decades of service and celebrate all the women of Hose Co. No. 1 and Relief Engine Company! We’re incredibly proud of Beth’s decades of service and celebrate all the women of the Moorestown Fire Department!

At approximately 10:37 am, the Moorestown Fire Department was dispatched to the 400 block of North Church Street for a working house fire. Upon arrival, crews had a 30 x 40 detached garage with fire on the roof. 3111 had one 1.75” in service, quick knock on the fire, held the assignment with 2 & 1.

Help Us Help You — Clear a Fire Hydrant! ❄️🔥

Winter storms can bury fire hydrants, and every second counts during an emergency. You can help your local fire department by taking a few minutes to dig out the fire hydrant in your neighborhood.

✅ Please clear:
• Snow and ice from around the hydrant
• At least 3 feet of space on all sides
• A clear path from the street to the hydrant

This simple act can make a life-saving difference for firefighters and your neighbors when it matters most.

💙 Thank you for supporting your fire department and keeping our community safe!
