Moorestown has been seeing an uptick in vehicle thefts and vehicle burglaries. Patrols have been on-going during the overnight hours in all residential areas and include the use of unmarked vehicles. It is important to note that the large majority of break-ins and thefts are due to unlocked cars. The most effective fight against these crimes is to always make sure your cars are locked before you go to bed and never leave keys, wallets, or purses inside. Your vigilance and cooperation are crucial in preventing these crimes.

The is a nightly reminder to residents to remove valuables from their vehicles, lock their vehicle doors, lock the doors to their residences, turn on exterior lights and activate all alarms and security systems.

Students and staff at Baker Elementary School enjoyed a special visit from the Moorestown Police Department K-9 Unit!

K-9 Officer Toscani and K-9 Cyrus, along with K-9 Corporal Sloan and K-9 Saltz, provided an demonstration showcasing the important role our police K-9s play in helping keep our community safe. Students had the opportunity to learn about the training, skills, and daily responsibilities of our K-9 teams while seeing them in action.
