🚒 Help Us Help You – Clear Your Hydrants! 🚒

Many fire hydrants are buried or hard to access. We’re asking our neighbors for a big favor—if there’s a fire hydrant near your home or business, please take a few minutes to clear the snow around it.
In an emergency, every second counts, and a visible, accessible hydrant can make a huge difference. Even just a few feet of clearance goes a long way.

With Fire Prevention Month behind us, we wanted to take this time to thank everyone that helped make it a success.

Thank you to all the departments and organizations that came out Fire Prevention Night to help with displays, truck rides, and demonstrations.

Thank you to all the local schools for allowing us to come in to speak with your students.

Thank you to all the VOLUNTEERS of Moorestown Fire Department and Lenola Volunteer Fire Company Station 313. Your participation is the driving force that gets our message out.

And last but certainly not least, thank you to the public. This year’s open house was by far the largest attended open house we’ve ever had. We can’t thank you enough for your continued support.

FIRE PIT GUIDANCE:    

New Jersey Forest Fire service has issued a Stage 3 burning restriction across the state of New Jersey due to drought conditions. This means that burning of natural fuels, wood and charcoal,  is prohibited. This ban also includes the use of pyrotechnics, gas torches and other flame producing devices. This fire ban is in place on all public lands, private properties in all municipalities throughout the state. The use of elevated devices that are powered by propane, electricity or natural gas is permitted during this burn ban.
